So I just finished Assassin's Creed Rouge. It had a neat little Mafia 2 like moment at the end there.

I finished these games
Heavy Rain Shadows of Mordor The Moon Sliver A Bird Story Assassin's Creed Unity Assassin's Creed Rogue Tales from the Borderlands: Zer0 Sum 199X
They were all good, except for Unity. I only played that because I have a sickness where I must play every main entry in the Assassin's Creed series. Shadows of Mordor was the best Assassin's Creed game I've ever played by far though.

I managed to finish the main story of bioshock infinite. I quit at the worst point as well, because after you finish the zeppelin boss, there's nothing left to fight, just a bit of walking. Also, screw playing this game on default field of view, it's nearly vomit inducingly bad sometimes. Burial at sea episode 1 is up next, I'm up to that part where you get the frost skill, you know the one, you can freeze pipes spewing water into ice bridges and shit.

I really admire your drive. I'm not even sure if I've finished a game all year.

Most of my gaming is now just Hyrule Warriors Legends on 3DS while commuting. Except I bought the season pass of DLC so I keep getting more adventure maps so I should be done with it around 2019.

Gears of War 4 (XB1): 5/10
I felt like I was playing COD: Advance Warfare. Seems like a cheap cash in. Let's just add robots instead of the Locust/Swarm! Let's just add fancier weapons!
Campaign is way too short. Plot was predictable.
Soundtrack is forgettable unlike Gears 2 & Gears 3.
Micro-transactions are irritating like hell. Just for a weapon skin, extra character you have to pay for it? Multi-player maps I can understand, but seriously, this is taking it to the extreme.
I don't think I will put in the time for Gears 4 like I did for Gears 2 & 3 especially in multi-player.
Collect all the collectibles in campaign mode. Finish the campaign on Insane Mode. Finish 50 Horde levels on Insane Mode. Then it's time to play other games.
Buy at Platinum price or borrow from a friend.
Looks good at 1080p but runs at 30 fps for campaign mode only. :/

Shantae: Half Genie Hero - PS4: 9/10
An awesome platformer. Seems to have changed formula from the previous two games - not a Metroidvania game anymore. Long time fans might cry about it, but I didn't mind.
9 hours - 100% items collected
BoxBoy! -3DS: 9/10
Classic puzzle platform game. Looks simple but don't fooled, there are some frustrating levels.

Resident Evil 7 - probably the best RE game I've played. Terrifying (especially in VR) and claustrophobic, it reminds me of the original game but with controls that are far less clunky.

I honestly don't know how you do it. I haven't even heard of half those games let alone finished them.

Plowed through the Witcher 1 on easy during my time off.
The gameplay is atrocious but the story and characters were really good, especially the detective work. It reminded me of Fallout New Vegas in its quality of writing. Looking forward to playing 2 and 3 soon.

Finished South Park Fractured But Whole in just over a week. Got pretty much everything except for a couple of followers on the in game social media (one needs you to get an ridiculous amount of in game currency and I think I missed the other two). Might go back for them later, but now I've got Super Mario Odyssey to play.
The game itself was alright, mainly fun, but it missed something to make it really good. The move to turn based strategy type fights allowed for some more interesting mechanics but it was still fairly simple. The last fight wasn't anywhere need as hard or as epic as it should have been. The most fun I had in a fight was against a boss about two thirds of the way into the game where you had to knock an enemy back into range of the boss, who would then eat them and take damage. Nothing was particularly hard about this game, which is shown in the fact that I've done most things on a first play through on the middle difficulty and only died a handful of times and never more than once against a particular enemy or boss. I'm actually thinking of going back and getting the achievement of playing on the hard difficult as a black person just to see if it's any more of a challenge. You guys would probably blitz this with barely a problem. With all the games out there at the moment I'd say give this one a skip unless you really love South Park.

I'm not sure if I even like South Park anymore. I think I may have aged and grown out of their laissez faire/libertarian "fuck anyone who cares about anything political or social" attitude. I still somewhat enjoy some of their non-political comedy though so maybe based on that advice I'll probably get it on sale years from now, like I do with most of the games I buy these days

I've been playing Arkham Knight. It has some fantastic moments but it also drags on in large areas compared to Asylum and City which were a whole lot tighter in their focus. Plus you can kinda tell with the way they keep on referencing Superman and The Flash that Rocksteady were already wanting to move on from Batman.

So I finished The Talos Principle Road to Gehenna DLC the other night. It was weirdly nostalgic, it focuses on a simulation trying to create an AI (the plot of the main game) where you're the system's messenger trying to free a bunch of trapped dissident AIs imprisoned by the system before the the main character from the base game finishes and shuts the program down.
What was weird was while the AIs were locked in their cells they had had access to their own forums where they would make short stories, ASCII art ans discuss the past, philosophy and other random forum posts. But the weirdest bit was how accurately it captured forum culture with mods, shit-posters, forum celebrities and just average users. Gave me real nostalgia for not only Hyper forums but other image boards I used to frequent too.
