Wait we have a local Lego site? I thought we had to use the US one, it's why I've never ordered!

I'll just wait until the 1st August. I won't have money to buy it before then anyway.

im not sure how long it takes.

What I don't understand is that if you look at the tracking, it gets from London to Alexandria (Sydney) the day after the order. But then it will probably take a week or more to get to me?

Not sure if I am missing something :shig:

Probably because it doesn't get released until the 1st August. It's probably sitting in a warehouse in Sydney waiting for the release date.

Apparently this weekend is the last time Toys R Us will be open. I'm sure we could all find dumb things to buy there.

I feel bad for the employees.

Another company gone because they didn't adapt to the internet.

Reminds me of a gaming magazine.

I have a look in Target every now and then for cheap games but they don't have the range anymore and don't tend to sell them cheap. I went looking for the 2 new Splatoon amiibos but I haven't been able to find them. The one time I don't preorder them and they're nowhere to be found.

But what if they don't? I'm already missing the Gold Megaman because it wasn't released outside of the US. What if I have to use eBay? *shudders*

Excess amiibos are stored in a Nintendo warehouse somewhere to create some level of market scarcity.

It will show up when you're least expecting it.

Lego Voltron arrived at the Postal Sorting Office in Alexandria (NSW) today.

I too am thinking of buying this dumb purchase.

For what it is, $290 doesn't seem that expensive.

I did the thing. Now to play the waiting game. 9-18 days postage time.
