Watched most of the Witcher last night. It felt a bit weird for me. I've never played the games but sometimes it felt like we were following Gerault in the past and the princess was present day, and it just confused me. I also had a hard time working out who was the main bad guy.

I couldn't help but see most the episodes as side quests. Not really contributing to the overall story, but little side bits.

Watched the last two episodes of the Arrowverse Crisis on Infinite Earths. I liked it. It felt like it could have had a better send off for Oliver Queen, and having the break over Christmas was a mistake, but it was enjoyable and sort of did a soft reboot on the Arrowverse multiverse.

Spoilers below

Arrow, Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, Flash, Supergirl and now Black Lightning are part of Earth-Prime and part of a Justice League of sorts. Interestingly it still kept some of the multiverses and made it so all the other DC TV shows (Titans, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing and the Original Superman movies) still exist as well.

Part 4 had a very cool cameo with Erza Miller appearing as the Flash and talking to Grant Gustin's Flash. The sequence took place in the Speed Force and seemed to acknowledge that the DC movies took place in their own dimension. I was hoping with this reset that they would eliminate all the other Earths and just have one, but I guess it makes sense to explain the different shows through the multiverse theory. Now I just hope that the Arrowverse shows will just stop jumping between dimensions and only deal with Earth-Prime stuff.

I finished Dragon Ball GT and now staring Dragon Ball Super.

At this stage I think the original Dragon Ball series was the best

Dracula series on Netflix.

First 2 episodes were good (first one REALLY good), but the 3rd and final episode was a bit dumb.

Decided to have a little look at Bajo of GoodGame's Twitch stream and...

Good God was this what he was like all the time? His stream is just ridiculously obnoxious. What the hell happened?

Been watching Penny Dreadful City Of Angels. It's enjoyable but I'm not sure why it needs the Penny Dreadful title. As far as I can see there's no connection to the original series. They probably just wanted to cash in on the brand.

I really wanted Rory Kineer's character to be his character from the original Penny Dreadful, but I'm 8 episodes in now and that doesn't look like happening, at least not this season.

Terminator Dark Fate

I quite liked it. The Terminator timeline is a mess to start with but I like the addition this one makes to it. 7/10.

Been watching Warrior Nun on Netflix. Was kinda standard B grade fair, but there were two things that happened in episode 5 that put me right off. Stupid character decisions that should not have happened.

Not watching yet, but a Star Wars Bad Batch animated show has been announced for a 2021 release.

Everytime the image pops up on my timeline all I can see is Bad Bitch though.

That reminds me, I finally remembered to watch my Rise of Skywalker blu ray the other day (I did see it originally in cinemas).

It still wasn't any better after a 2nd viewing. I hate the whole rewind on everything that happened in TLJ, and while I'm glad they still managed to include Carrie Fisher with old footage the dialogue around it just seemed odd, but I suppose they didn't have much choice besides not including her in the film, recast (no!) or cgi face on someone else (also no!). I prefer her in the film rather than not in it, even if the result does seem clunky.

It might have been better if JJ had done all 3 films or Rian Johnson had done the 3rd one (I actually don't mind The Force Awakens being a clone of A New Hope, I think it needed to be to launch the new trilogy) but going from JJ to Rian and back to JJ just made the 3rd film feel out of place.
